Linda (Gibbons) Shealey

Mrs. Linda Gibbons Shealey, 76, wife of the late Charlie Pic Shealey, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Mrs. Shealey was born on May 29, 1948, in Florence County, daughter of the late Thaddeus Patrick Gibbons, Sr. and Joycelyn Pierce Gibbons.  She was a member of Family Worship Assembly in Coward and was a retired Entrepreneur/Comedian. She loved her family and enjoyed every moment with them.

Surviving are her three daughters, Sheila B. (Sammy) Christmas of Sumter, Melinda B. Wilson of Myrtle Beach and Johnlyn (Micah) Nettles of Lake City; grandchildren, Victoria Bundy, Ashlyn Whitmarsh, Randall Todd “R.T.” (Lesley) Gillespie, Jr., Amber Renee (Joshua) Bush, Hunter Lynn Nettles (Nicholas) Bryant and Langley Nicole Nettles; great grandchildren, Landen Touchberry, Cale Touchberry, Riley Perry, Bentley Bush, Capelynn Bush, Colt Gillespie, Corbin Gillespie and expecting, Collin Micah Bryant; brother, Billy (Patricia) Gibbons; sister, Judy Barker; sister-in-law, Terry Gibbons.

Mrs. Shealey was preceded in death by her grandson, Chad Patrick Touchberry; brother, Thaddeus Gibbons, Jr. and sister, Patsy Geddings.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Lee Cemetery, McCutcheon Road, Lake City.
