Lisa Kay (Tucker) Beard

Mrs. Lisa Kay Turker Beard, 59, of Olanta, wife of James Edward Beard, Sr., passed away on July 22, 2026, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee.

Mrs. Beard was born on September 30, 1966, in Timmonsville, daughter of the late Bobby Tucker and Luella Tolson Tucker. Mrs. Beard was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a loving home. She enjoyed shopping and taking trips to the beach and the mountains. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

Surviving are her husband James Beard of Olanta; daughter, Chasidy B. (Scott) Readon; grandchildren, James Arvin Beard, Destiny Lynn Beard, Abbygail Reardon and Wynston Reardon; sisters, Janice (William) Griggs and Terry (Rev. Jimmy) Parker; brother, Frankie (Lindy) Tucker; step-brother, Gregg Tucker; step-sister, Shirley Tucker; fur babies, Jitterbug and Pepper.

Mrs. Beard was preceded in death by her son, James Edward “Boo” Beard, Jr.
