Obituary
Mrs. Lizzie T. Bohnert, 81, of Scranton, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at her home.
Mrs. Bohnert was born on October 19, 1944, in Florence County, daughter of the late Myers N. Tedder and Miriam Elizabeth Nettles Tedder. She found joy in planting flowers around her home and took loving care of her brother. She was a simple woman at heart, never one for fancy things, but rich in kindness and quiet strength.
Surviving are her brother, John D. Tedder of Scranton; special neighbors, Billy and Carolyn Matthews.
Mr. Bohnert was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, October 27, 2025, at Matthews Cemetery, Coward.
