Lonnie Glenn Kirby, 58, husband of Dee Dee Kirby, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at his residence.
Mr. Kirby was born on September 1, 1962 in Florence County, son of the late Lonnie W. Kirby, Jr. and Gracie Lucille Tanner Kirby. He was a member of Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended Olanta Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Dee Dee Gunnells Kirby of Scranton; children, Glenn Kirby, Jr. of Scranton, Rhonda (Chase Lambert) Gunnells of Timmonsville and Crystal (Jose) Kirby of Effingham; grandchildren, Savanna Kirby, Troy Kirby, Harley Driggers, Destiny Wallace, Kimberly Wallace and LJ Wallace; great-grandchildren, Addison Tisdale, Emma Wallace and Sapphire Wallace; siblings, Stevie (Judy) Kirby of Coward and Kertrinka "Tinky" Powell of Coward.
Mr. Kirby was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Randy Powell.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Olanta Pentecostal Holiness Church, Olanta.
Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will be at Manoah Church Cemetery, Lake City.
The family will receive friends 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 31, 2020, at the church prior to the services.
