Mr. Lonnie “BoBo” Elijah Tedder, Jr. 60, of Scranton, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at his residence.
Mr. Tedder was born on May 8, 1965, in Florence County, son of the late Lonnie Elijah Tedder, Sr. and Edna Eileen “Nancy” Lynch Tedder. Mr. Tedder was formerly employed by Lee Electric as an Electrical Forman, a role he took great pride in throughout his career. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication, he was respected by those who worked alongside him. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially drag racing and relaxing while watching westerns and classic television shows. However, nothing brought him greater happiness than time spent with his family. They were the center of his life, and his love, devotion, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his son, Vince Tedder (Casey); grandchildren, Ava Tedder, Dalton Tedder, and Kinzlee Tedder; sisters, Phyllis Larrimore and Karen Hoagland (Tommy); brother, Timmy Tedder (Patricia); special daughter, Olivia Harrington; along with several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Mr. Tedder was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Shaun Tedder; sister, Lisa Denise Tedder, brother, Jerry Mitchell Tedder; and a niece, Stephanie Michelle Tedder.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Carolina Funeral Home.
