Obituary
Lula Jo Yarborough Jenkins, 69, of Scranton, wife of the late William Willard “Wickey” Jenkins, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.
Mrs. Jenkins was born on January 7, 1954, in Florence County, daughter of the late Alton Yarborough Sr and Iva Mae Lynch Yarborough. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and crafts.
Surviving are her sons, William Wayco (Bridgette) Jenkins and Rusty G. (Becky) Jenkins, both of Scranton; grandchildren, Dylan (Brooke) Jenkins, Reed (Alyssa) Jenkins, Cambell Jenkins, Walker Jenkins, Kaydee Jenkins and McKenzi Jenkins; brother, Bubba (Jeanette) Yarborough; sister, Jodi Cook.
Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by two infant sons and a sister, Tammy McCutcheon.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Yarborough Cemetery, Scranton.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
