Mrs. Mae Bradshaw Evans, 91, of Scranton, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025, at McLeod Hospice House.
Mrs. Evans was born on May 12, 1933, in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late Louis Bradshaw and Agnes Marsh Bradshaw. She retired from Baxter, where she worked in Quality Control, and was a faithful member of Gilead Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Evans found great joy in spending time at the beach, riding a Harley alongside her late husband, hosting yard sales, and shopping.
Surviving are her children, Harry Eugene (Vanessa) Evans and Donald Ricky Evans, both of Scranton and Sarah Louise Evans (Terry) of Irmo; 15 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren; best friends, Mary and Marilyn.
Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Melvin Evans; son, Randy O’Neal Evans; siblings, Major Bradshaw, Lamar Bradshaw, James Bradshaw, Willard Bradshaw, Sammy Bradshaw, Leola Braxton and Virginia Braxton; granddaughter, Tonya Denise Evans; great grandchild, Robert Lee Neal Griffin.
The family would like to thank McLeod Hospice and Heritage Nursing Home staff for their love and care.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.
