Mamie Lou (Lee) Moulds

Mamie Lee Moulds, 96, wife of the late Richard E. Moulds, died Friday, August 30, 2019, at Embrace Hospice House, Myrtle Beach.

Mrs. Moulds was born on April 9, 1923 in Coward, daughter of the late Arter Lee and Bealer Mary Lynch Lee. She member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Charleston and was homemaker.  Mrs. Moulds was an avid gardener and devoted caregiver to the sick. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed sewing, cooking and shopping. 

Surviving are her children, Gale (Louie) Phillips and Diane (Elbert) Cox, both of Pawleys Island, and Richard A. "Ricky" Moulds of Charleston; grandchildren, Jenny Phillips (Matt) Jones, Robin (Alex) Phillips, Nikki Phillips, Stacey Cox, Pamela Cox (James) Meadows, Ryan (Kara) Cox, Rocky Grimsley, David (Karen) Grimsley, Phillip Conyers, Robert Poston, Timmy Poston and Tony Poston;  and a number of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Moulds was preceded in death by her children, Judy Richburg, Shirley Moulds Grier, Wanda Conyers and Carolyn Poston; sister, Nora Matthews, Eddie Mae Anderson, Nettie Yarborough and Lela Lee Coward; brother, Leroy Lee and Eulon Lee.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Matthews Cemetery, Coward.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at the funeral home.
