Marilyn (DuBose) Ward

Marilyn Ward, 82, wife of the late Buck W. "Buster" Ward, Jr., died Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at Carlyle Senior Care, Kingstree.

Mrs. Ward was born on May 26, 1938 in Lake City, daughter of the late Malery David DuBose and Ruth Joyce DuBose. She was a graduate of Hebron High School and attended Columbia Business College. Mrs. Ward was a member of Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church and the former owner of Farm House Antiques.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her sons, Buck W. "Buddy"(Karen) Ward, III of Lake City and Brian David (Lacie) Ward of Cades; grandchildren, Jordan Ward (T. J.) Stack of Sumter, William "Will" A. Ward, Malery Lauren Ward and Lindsey Anne Ward, all of Cades; great grandchildren, Ella Katherine Stack and Thomas Ryan Stack; and a sister, Sharon D. (James) Duke of Gilbert.  

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, October 23, 2020, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Friday, October 23, 2020, at the funeral home, prior to the services.
