Obituary
Mrs. Marilyn Faye Roddy McCracken, 77, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Mrs. McCracken was born on September 19, 1947, in Greenville, daughter of the late Reverend Douglas Roddy and Ida Wood Roddy. She was a graduate of Dorman High School in Spartanburg and member of Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. McCracken was a retired supervisor at Health South and enjoyed baking chocolate cakes.
Surviving are her sisters, Gail (Ray) Isgett, twin sister, Carolyn (Bobby) Barnio and Sherry Roddy; 7 nephews; 4 nieces and a host of extended family and friends.
Mrs. McCracken was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas (Betty Jo) Roddy, Jr.; sisters, Gracey Vassey and Johnnie Roddy; and a nephew.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Shiloh Cemetery, Coward.
