Marshall Young Obituary

Marshall Deleon Young, 82, husband of Carolyn Wilkes Young, died Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Lake City-Scranton Health Care.

Mr. Young was born on August 6, 1937 in Florence County, son of the late Early Young and Mazie McKnight Young. He was a graduate of J. C. Lynch High School and was a member of Ariel Baptist Church in Coward.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Wilkes Young of Coward; children, Tammy (Gene Carpenter) Ratley of Johnsonville, Bryan (Stephanie Braveboy) Young of Coward and Michael Corbin of Coward; grandchildren, Shandi Young, Amanda Turner, Dalton Young, Dylan Young, Colton Young and Lee Corbin; great grandchildren, Chandler Carraway, Kinzley Lee and Klarie Young; siblings, Legrand (Judy) Young of Coward, Keith (Jeronia) Young and Edna (Wayne) Sims of Hartsville.

Mr. Young was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Braswell.
