Martha "Marty" Sigler

Mrs. Martha “Marty” Sigler, 73, of Irmo, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Sigler was born on May 9, 1952, in Florence County, daughter of the late John Robert Strickland and Bernice May Cobb Strickland. Mrs. Sigler was a hardworking and dedicated woman. She found comfort in quiet moments, especially with a good book in hand. She loved all animals, but dogs held a special place in her heart.

Surviving are her son, John Sigler of West Columbia; nephews, Sheldon (Michelle) Kirby of Holly Springs, NC and Thomas (Ivonne) Kirby of Chevy Chase, Maryland; nieces, Nancy Gause, Nina Altman, Diane Pardue; great nieces and great nephews, including, Ashlyn Kirby, Grayson Kirby and Makayla Kirby.

Mrs. Sigler was preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Kirby, Lucille Herring, Jemima Miles and Pearline Bethune.

Graveside service will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Strickland-Feagin Cemetery.
