Mr. Martin Eric Humphries, 64, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at MUSC Health Black River Medical Center.
Mr. Humphries was born on February 18, 1960, in Florence County, son of the late Huggins LaFaye Humphries and Marjorie Eaddy Humphries. He was a caretaker of many people and made the most beautiful flower arrangements. Mr. Humphries would light up the room with his kindness and contagious smile. He had a “Bold and Bright” personality that everyone was drawn to. Mr. Humphries was an avid music collector of all kinds of music, he also enjoyed concerts, going to thrift stores, yard sales, gardening and spending time with his fur-babies.
Surviving are his siblings, Sandra Faye Williamson of Vox Community, Huggins Dewane (Sandra Kay) Humphries and Amy Yolanda (Blane) Powell both of Prospect; special nephew, Joshua Todd (Jessica) Singletary of Hannah; special nieces, Bethlena Coe and DeAnna (Bo) Green; special great nephews, Jacob Todd Singletary and Silas Tanner Coe; special friends, Haskell, Bill, Jamie and Freddie; many other friends, nieces and nephews; and his precious and loving fur-babies -Tippie and Chase.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, February 17, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be, 2:00 PM, Monday, February 17, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial to follow at Little Star Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
