Mrs. Mary Frances Baker Tomlinson, 83, wife of the late Talmadge T. Tomlinson, passed away Tuesday evening, September 7, 2021 at her home in Lake City.
Mrs. Tomlinson was born September 13, 1937 in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late James B. Baker and Sarah Frances Buddin Baker. She was a graduate of Hebron High School and was a member of the Lake City United Methodist Church. Mrs. Tomlinson worked at Baxter Laboratories for a number of years before teaching kindergarten at the Lake City Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a son, Charles M. (Julie) Tomlinson, Sr. of Lake City; daughter, Angela T. (Rick) Helmer of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Charles M. Tomlinson, Jr., Noah James Tomlinson, Joseph L. Tomlinson, Zachary L. Tomlinson, Crystal G. (Robbie) Mew, Richard T. (Hana) Helmer, and Kevin M. Helmer; great-grandchildren, Hunter Helmer, Jason Helmer, Hailey Helmer and Radley Mew, and Krislyn Tomlinson; brother, Major L. Baker.
Mrs. Tomlinson was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Jovie Mew; brothers Emory Baker, Rudolph Baker, and William Baker and a sister, Marguerite Huggins.
Graveside services will be 11:00AM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Lake City Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home, 2481 Patty Road, Lake City
