Mendy Gail Lee

Mendy Gail Lee, 48, of Timmonsville, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.

Mrs. Lee was born on June 23, 1976, in Florence County, daughter of Betty Gail Lynch Lee and the late Woodrow Ernest Lee. She was a graduate of Timmonsville High School, member of Olanta Pentecostal Holiness Church and was employed with Florence School District 1 until her health began to decline. She cherished spending time with her daughter and family, and found joy in reading during her quiet moments.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Betty Gail Lynch Lee of Timmonsville, are her daughter, Jada LaKrista Lee; sisters, Amy Lee Correia of Lamar, Anissa Kay (Lacy) Taylor of Florence, and Heather (Luke) Buckwalter of Timmonsville; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, June 16, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Olanta Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
