Michael Christopher Prosser

Michael Christopher Prosser, 45, of Wilson passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021.

Michael is preceded in death by his sister, Melanie Grace Angelique, and his brother, Shawn Avery Prosser.

He is survived by his fiancé’ Cheyenne Stewart, his five year old daughter Kensington Melanie Prosser, his mother, Donna Tamez (Mario), his father, Avery Prosser (Barbara), and four brothers, Steven Prosser, Teddy Prosser, Christopher Tamez and Eric Tamez.

Michael will be truly missed by all of his family and friends. He loved and cared for his family deeply. He enjoyed power lifting and loved being able to compete in Strong Man competitions. He also enjoyed working as a corrections officer at Eastern Regional Correctional Institute.

A memorial service is planned to celebrate his life at the home of his mother, Donna Tamez on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at 4217 Chinook Rd, Wilson, NC 27893. Flowers are welcome and may be delivered to Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash St N, Wilson, NC or to the home of the family. A memorial fund has been created to help the family with funeral expenses.
