Morgan Elizabeth (Weatherford) Evans

Morgan Elizabeth Weatherford Evans, 26, wife of Brantley Evans, died Sunday, July 31, 2022 at her residence in Timmonsville.

Morgan was born on August 25, 1995, in Florence County, daughter of Chris Weatherford and Jennifer Craig. She was a member of Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church. Morgan was so full of life and energy, she especially loved her family and always had a smile that would light up the room. She was a very loving wife to her husband and a very good mother to her daughter, Madalyn, who thought she was the prettiest mother in the world. Her love for others was shown with her chosen career as a waitress.  Morgan loved the outdoors and especially spending time with her family and friends on the river.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Brantley Evans, are their daughter, Madalyn; siblings, Justice Webb, Rocky Craig, Halie Czarnecki and Kalob Weatherford, all of Florence; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Stephen and Tara Evans of Timmonsville; brother-in-law, Gavin Evans of Timmonsville; grandmother, Felice Russell of Florence; aunt, Kathleen Russ and best friend, Melinda Jernigan,  both of Florence.

Morgan was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Kevin Craig and great grandfather, Frank Parrott, Sr.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 5, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at St. John Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Pamplico.  

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Friday, August 5, 2022, prior to the service at the funeral home.
