Mr. Mulder Brian Coker, 55, of Lake City, husband of Marie Truett Coker, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee, Florence.
Mulder Brian Coker was born on January 13, 1971, in Florence County, the only son of the late Mulder Lerion “Mutt” Coker and Loretta Langston Coker. Brian dedicated 39 years of his life to working as a diesel mechanic, a profession he took great pride in. He spent many years with Altman Tractor, where he became known not only for his strong work ethic, but also for his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Brian was a hardworking man who never hesitated to help others, and because of his kind and generous spirit, he was loved by many.
Outside of work, Brian found joy in the simple things he loved most — his tractor, his pigs, and the special memories he made with family and friends. Among all of his pigs, Rosco held a special place in his heart as his favorite. Brian also enjoyed traveling and spending time in the places that brought him happiness, especially visiting the apple orchards in Hendersonville, taking trips to Cozumel, relaxing at the lake, and enjoying a good meal at Texas Roadhouse.
Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Marie Truett Coker of Lake City; daughter, Carlee Coker of Lake City; son, Hunter (Kaleigh) Flowers of Scranton; special daughter-in-love, Alexis (Felix) Lazo of Scranton; grandchildren-in-love, Aria and Aliah; special aunt, Jeanette Coker of Scranton; special cousins, Renee Bryant, Tracy Coker and Donna Coker; favorite sister-in-law, Faith (Jeff) Atkinson of Aynor; special niece, Riley and Mackenzie; along with many other cousins and extended family members.
Brian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Julious Harvey Coker and Velma Lois Coker; maternal grandparents, Milbur Langston and Bannie Langston; aunt, Joyce Ann Martin, Bobby Jean Roidl and Blondell Johnson; favorite uncle, Dexter Coker; special cousin, Justin Bryant.
