Nancy Owens Obituary
Mrs. Nancy Joan Thompson Owens, 80, wife of the late Franklin Lutrell Owens, Sr. died Saturday, November 16, 2019 at her residence after an illness.
Mrs. Owens was born August 4, 1939 in Georgetown County, daughter of the late Pat Thompson and Sally Weaver Thompson. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church and was a retired teacher.
Surviving are her children, Melissa (Tony) Stone and Franklin Lutrell "Frank" Owens, Jr., both of Hemingway and Sharon (Billy Wallkup) Owens of Greenville; grandchildren, Bryant Stone, McKenzie Stone and Adam Stone, all of Hemingway.
Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Thompson Lyerly.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Midway Cemetery, Hemingway, directed by Carolina Funeral Home.
