Oscar Serrato, Jr.

Mr. Oscar Serrato, Jr., 49, of Timmonsville, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at his residence.

Mr. Serrato was born on March 29, 1977, in Rosenberg, Texas, son of Oscar Serrato, Sr and Elva Tovar Serrato.

Oscar loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them whenever he could. He had a passion for cars, television, and movies, and especially cherished his dog, Sonia. In his free time, he enjoyed attending chicken auctions and reading books.

He is survived by his mother, Elva Tovar; his father, Oscar Serrato; and his children, Oscar Serrato III, Noah Lee Serrato, and Pedro Marcos Serrato. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Azalea Serrato, Amelia Serrato, Mariana Serrato, Makaela Serrato, and Pedro Garcia Serrato.

Also surviving are his siblings, Christina Cardona (Gustavo), Eliazar Serrato (Nita), Sylvia Serrato-Zunun (Giovanni), Nancy Serrato (Israel), and Jimmy Serrato; along with 11 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Carolina Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel.
