Mrs. Patricia “Patsy” Jane Thames, 67, wife of Louis “Hubert” Thames, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at her home in Cades surrounded by her loving family.
Patsy was born on July 24, 1958, in Clarendon County, the daughter of the late Allen Leo Coker and Mattie Strickland Coker, was a graduate of East Clarendon High School and a devoted housewife. Patsy enjoyed working word-search puzzles, and attending auctions. She was a loving wife, mother, and Mema to her grandchildren and her great grandchildren and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Louis “Hubert” Thames; sons, Andy Coker and Casey (Chastity) Thames; stepson, Carl (Cathy) Thames; grandchildren, Haley Coker, Katelyn Coker, Nicholas Coker, Mayson Holland and Hunter Thames; two great grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, Larry (Patsy) Barfield and Allen (Martha) Coker; sisters, Gail Spring and Barbara (Bill) Brown; and other extended family.
Graveside services will be held, 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
