Mrs. Patricia “Tricia” Graham Floyd, 54, wife of John M. Floyd, of Effingham, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at McLeod Hospice House.
Mrs. Floyd was born on March 17, 1971, in Oklahoma City, OK, daughter of the late Wayne L. Graham and Jennie Douglas Graham. She attended Destiny Praise Center and spent her career doing what she loved most — teaching little ones as a 3K teacher at Pursuit Christian Academy. She truly loved her 3K children and poured her heart into each of them. She enjoyed the simple joys of life — sitting by the ocean with a good book, going out to eat, and catching a movie. She adored her family and loved spending time with them. She was kind, generous, and always willing to give to others, and her loving spirit will be remembered by everyone who knew her.
Surviving are her husband, John M. Floyd of Effingham; daughters, Olivia Grace Floyd and Madison Brooke Floyd; sister, Pam (Neil) Waldron; aunt, Maryland Morris; sister-in-law, Luanne (Johnathon) White; brother-in-law, Tommy (Theresa) Floyd; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Linwood and Ruby Floyd.
A Celebration of Life will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pursuit Christian Academy, 7005 Friendfield Road, Effingham, SC 29541.
