Patrick Quincy Harrell, Sr. 73, husband of Brenda Hanna Harrell, died Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Harrell was born on September 29, 1948 in Scranton, son of the late George Leo Harrell and Leola Howard Harrell. He was a 1966 graduate of Lake City High School and attended Florence-Darlington Tech. Mr. Harrell was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the United States Army, where he was an Army Ranger. He was a retired DCS Operator at Nan Ya Plastics, was the former East Coast Sales Manager for Colonial Rubber, and was a former Lake City Police Officer. He loved golfing, fishing, NASCAR, motorcycles, cars, and was an avid Gamecock Fan.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda Hanna Harrell; children, Patrick Allen Williams, Lisa S. (Maxie) James, Jason Micah (Fran) Springs, Travis R. (Christina) Springs, Patrick Quincy Harrell, Jr., Kimberly Dawn (Greg) Thompson, and Robert Lance Harrell; grandchildren, Chris (Catilyn) Prentice, Andrew (Joye) James, Rebecca (Hunter) Woodberry, Gavin James, Micah Springs, Cohen Springs, Conner Springs, Landry Springs, Tiffany (Mike) Eaddy, Brandon Harrell, Elizabeth Thompson, Leann Thompson, and William Harrell; five great grandchildren; sister, Brenda H. (Troy) Capps; nephews, Troy (Kim) Capps and Shane (Heather) Capps; lifelong friend, Jay Coker; sidekick, Bama, and several cousins.
Mr. Harrell was predeceased in death by his grandson, Quentin Brooks Thompson and Uncle Gary "Bubba" Howard.
A Celebration of Life with Military Honors, will be 2:00 PM, November 7, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
