Peggie Lynn Jones

Peggie Lynn Jones, 40, daughter of Pastor Becky Jones and the late Ronald Jones, Sr. passed away peacefully Wednesday April 6, 2022 at her home in Lake City surrounded by her family and friends.

To know Peggie Lynn was to know love. She loved unconditionally and without restraint. God's word calls us to love others as he loves us and Peggie Lynn truly answered that calling. One area that Peggie Lynn excelled in showing God's love was her dedication to Global Missions. With her love for her Church and singing, she was able to minister to others alongside her parents at New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church. The love Peggie Lynn gave was reciprocated by all. She was loved and will continue to be loved by her family, church family and all her friends worldwide. She was special to all who knew her and one of the biggest Clemson Tiger fans you would ever meet.

Peggie was born on November 28, 1981 in Mullins, SC, daughter of Pastor Becky Jones and the late Ronald Jones Sr. She was a Honorary Paramedic and a member of New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving is her mother Pastor Becky Jones of Lake City; Brother Pastor Ronald F. (Erin) Jones of Boynton Beach, FL, Nieces and Nephews Everett Jones, Stella Mae Jones, Grayson Jones and Amelia Jones, all of Boynton Beach, FL. Special Adopted Big Sister Missy Poston of Pamplico,  Sister and Body Guard Brittany Tedder of Turbeville, Body Guard Brad Welch of Scranton, Special Uncle and Aunt, Tommy and Jenny Gore of Conway, Aunts and Uncles Nancy (Glenn) Martin of Lexington, Linda (Robert) Cooper of Aynor, Mary Beth (Ranerson) Broach of Effingham, Rebecca (Wilton, Special "Uncle Beaver") Rabon of Conway, Wayne (Jody) Jones of Hartsville. Special Cousins, Crystal "Christy" (Chris) Thompson, Missy (Shane) Owens all of Conway. Special friends and family, Betsy Cain of Florence, Shiralee Driggers of Lake City, Tony and Lisa Reed of Sumter, and her little fur baby Missy.

Peggie Lynn was preceded in death by her father Ronald F. Jones, Sr.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday April 12, 2022 at Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lake City. Burial to follow at New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Turbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday April 11, 2022, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, SC and from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, Tuesday April 12, 2022 at Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lake City, SC.

A special thanks to Brittany Tedder, Charrish Welch, Jennie Miles and Loretta Tedder for their dedication and care for Peggie Lynn throughout her illness. Amedisys Hospice, Melissa Poston, who was an angel sent from God and the members of New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church for their love and support during this time.
