Randy Legrand Osborne, Jr.

Randy Legrand Osborne, Jr., 57, husband of Doris Osborne, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at his home in Scranton.

Mr. Osborne was born on December 21, 1966, in Florence County, son of the late Randy Legrand Osborne, Sr. and Rose Marie Shealy McDaniel. He worked at NanYa Plastics for eighteen years and drove trucks for fifteen years. Randy enjoyed working on trucks, cutting grass, fishing and traveling, especially to the mountains and the beach.  He loved to get lost because he would say, “All roads lead to somewhere.” Randy was stubborn, but loveable and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Doris McKnight Osborne of Scranton; daughter, Brandy (William) Richburg of Scranton; adopted son, Jerry Wayne Hamacher of Moncks Corner; adopted daughter, Anna Marie Hamacher of Florence; grandchildren, Carter, Autumn, Zoey, Maiya, Lainey and David; brother, Gene (Becky) McDaniel of Coward; sister, Sheila McDaniel of Coward; a special aunt and uncle, Buck and Myra Lamb of Scranton; special friends, Larry and Kay Locklair of Scranton.

Mr. Osborne was preceded in death by his grandsons, Brentlee Crump and Hunter Hamacher; brother, Andy Osborne.

The family would like to send a special “Thank You” to Dr. Daniel DeCamps and his staff for their care and concern during this time.

Graveside services will be 5:00 PM, Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Lower Lee Cemetery, Scranton.

The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM, Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
