Obituary
Mr. Ray Ronald Prosser, 73, of the Prospect Community, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Mr. Prosser was born on January 9, 1951, in Florence County, son of the late McLendon Prosser and Mettie Creel Prosser. He served in the SC Army National Guard and was a retired maintenance technician in the plumbing industry. Mr. Prosser was a member of Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he enjoyed playing his guitar and singing gospel music.
Surviving are his son, Ronald David (Casey) Prosser of Sumter; grandchildren, Maddie Prosser and Noah Prosser; sisters, Patricia Clark and Eddie Ruth (John) Jordan; brother, Tereyl (Sharon) Prosser.
Mr. Prosser was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Stone Prosser; siblings, Mack McCray Prosser and Helen Huggins.
