Rebecca Marie Hutchinson Putnam

Rebecca Marie Hutchinson Putnam, 46, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025.

Rebecca was born on June 7, 1979,  in Florence County, daughter of Karen Foxworth Shannon and the late Jerel Hugh Hutchinson. She was a 1997 graduate of Hannah-Pamplico High School and she enjoyed sitting outside enjoying nature. Rebecca was a loving mother with a heart full of care and always loved when the little ones were around. She deeply loved her parents, especially sharing a close and cherished bond with her mother. Rebecca had a deep love for her dogs, Benji and Remi. Rebecca had a funny, bubbly personality and always had a smile on her face.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Karen Shannon, are her sons, Dylan Michael Putnam and Evan Bruce Putnam, both of Gaston; brothers, Jerel Hugh (Misty) Hutchinson, Jr of Sacramento, KY and Joseph (Nicole) Shannon of Camden; sister, Kristen (Robert) Wilson of Palmetto, FL; nephew, Joshua (Sydney) Hutchinson of Florence; niece, Allison Hutchinson of Florence; great niece Daisy Rae Hutchinson of Florence; nieces and nephews, Hallie, Banks, Jase, Piper and Hunter.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
