Rennie (Calcutt) Bingham

Rennie Bingham, 72, wife of the late Ray D. Bingham, died Monday, January 7, 2019, at her residence, after an illness.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church, Kingstree.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Mrs. Bingham was born on April 8, 1946 in Hemingway, daughter of the late Wallace Calcutt and Corean Poston Calcutt.  She was a graduate of Hemingway High School and was a self-employed accountant.  Mrs. Bingham was a long time member of Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she served as Secretary and Treasurer and was active in the Women's Ministry. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Surviving are her two sons, Ray Bingham, Jr. and wife Dee of Greer, Gregg Bingham and wife Donna of Kingstree; one daughter, Glenda Miller and husband Joel of Kingstree; grandchildren, Jarred (Katelyn) Bingham of Coward, Matthew and Lauren Bingham of Kingstree, Taylor Bingham of Augusta and Carter Bingham of Greer, Krystal and Reagan Miller of Kingstree; siblings, Frank Calcutt of Lake City, Jeanette Knopf of Sumter, Faydean Poston of Warner Robbins, GA, Marion (Nancy) Calcutt of Hemingway, Wayne (Ann) Calcutt of Florence, Diane Rogers of Florence; in-laws, Jerry (Louise) Bingham of Kingstree, Faye Courtney of Columbia, Virgel McDaniel  (Ronnie Tanner) of Kingstree, Cathy (Tommy) Britton of Hemingway, Susie McCrea of Kingstree, Louise Bingham of Florence and Jenny Rose Bingham of San Antonio, TX.

Mrs. Bingham was preceded in death by siblings, Mayo Calcutt, W. H. Calcutt, Jerry Calcutt and Rachel Goodwin.
