Reverend Thomas Keith Caldwell, Sr., 64, husband of Joy Munchberg Caldwell, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at his home in Lake City.
Reverend Caldwell was born on February 8, 1960 in Greenville, son of the late Joseph L. Caldwell and Lois Bigham Caldwell. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and then later served in the National Guard. Reverend Caldwell was a licensed minister with the South Carolina International Pentecostal Holiness Conference, member of Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church, along with serving in various positions with the SCIPHC and serving as a supply Pastor for several churches in the area.
Surviving are his wife, Joy Munchberg Caldwell of Lake City; sons, Thomas Keith Caldwell, Jr. of Lake City and Joshua Mark (Morgan) Caldwell of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren, Joshua David “J.D.” Caldwell, Treighton Caldwell, Jireh Caldwell, Ester Bella Caldwell and Julia Caldwell; brother, John (Denise) Caldwell of Newnan, Georgia; sister, Joy Moore of Fountain Inn; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Reverend Caldwell was preceded in death by his son, Reverend Johnathan Edward Caldwell; daughters, Elizabeth Caldwell and Grace Caldwell; brothers, Curtis Woodrow Caldwell and Nealy Caldwell; sister, Jodi Kinney.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, to follow at Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, with Military Honors.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church.
