Rhunette Dennis Hampton

Rhunette Dennis Hampton, 80, wife of the late Joseph Franklin "Joe" Hampton, died Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Northwoods Assisted Living in Sumter.

Mrs. Hampton was born on June 14, 1938 in Florence County, daughter of the late Ingram Livingston Dennis and Eva Corinna Beard Dennis. 

Surviving are her sisters, Eloise Driggers of Sumter and Norma Dennis (Ricky) McCutcheon of Scranton; granddaughter, January Young of Beaumont, TX; grandsons, Derick Parker and Jamie Parker, both of Beaumont, TX.  

Mrs. Hampton was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Turner Parker; brothers, Thomas "Lavern" Dennis, Ervin William Dennis and Rudolph "Tom" Dennis.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, December 31, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Monday, December 31, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
