Richard Joseph Bramlett, Sr

Richard Joseph Bramlett, Sr, 79, died Thursday, May 26, 2022 at MUSC, Charleston.

Mr. Bramlett was born on February 11, 1943, in Lee County, son of the late William Samuel Bramlett and Ella Hardin Bramlett. He was a machinist and loved to fish, watch wrestling, loved kids and his dog, Lucy.

Mr. Bramlett is survived by his sons, Richard Joseph (Valorie) Bramlett, Jr. of Scranton and William Anthony Bramlett of Sumter; sisters, Ruth Edwards and Ellen Tidwell, both of Mayesville; 4 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 9 step great grandchildren; 12 step great great grandchildren.

Mr. Bramlett was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Bramlett, Robert Bramlett, Harold Bramlett, Lee Bramlett, Levern Bramlett, Luke Bramlett, Sidney Bramlett and Wayne Bramlett; sisters, Bessie Christmas, Bonnie Matuse and Doris Milligan.

Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, June 10, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to follow the service.
