Richard Bryce Coker

Richard Bryce Coker, 42, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023, in Florence County.

Bryce was born on December 23, 1980, in Sumter County, son of the late Richard “Ricky” Durette Coker and Debbie Spring Powell. He attended Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church and formerly worked as a computer programmer. Bryce was a loving son and father who freely expressed his love and appreciation to his family.

Surviving are his mother, Debbie Spring Powell; step-father, Bobby Powell both of Johnsonville; son, Liam Brycen Coker of Johnsonville; step-brother, David Powell; step-sister, Stephanie Stone; aunt, Shirley Carraway of Lake City; uncle, Carroll (Queen) Spring of Lake City; aunts, Sheila (Andy) Cole of Wake Forest, NC, Michelle (Chuck) Easler of Greeleyville and Judi Coker of Lake City.

Bryce was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ashby & Margaret Beatrice Spring; paternal grandparents, Donnie “Lucky” & Shirley Jean Daniels Coker; brother, Scotty Durette Coker; uncle, Daniel Vincent Coker; numerous other relatives.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial to follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church.
