Obituary
Mr. Robert M. Askins, 83, of Lake City, husband of Diana Palmer Askins, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.
Mr. Askins was born on July 20, 1942, in Williamsburg County, son of the late Carson Billy Askins and Sue Daniels Askins. He was a Commercial Contractor and was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are his wife, Diana P. Askins of Lake City; son, Bill (Amy) Askins of Effingham; daughter, Ana (Brunson) Loadholt of Lake City; grandchildren, Mary Palmer Askins, Elizabeth Sue Askins and Caroline Loadholt; brothers, Billy (Linda) Askins and David (Jan) Askins.
Mr. Askins was preceded in death by a sister, Elinor Jordan.
Funeral services will be private.
