Robert Ellison Obituary

Robert Stanley Ellison, 77, beloved husband of Cindy Ellison, died Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Ellison was born on March 17, 1943 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, son of the late Cody James Ellison, Sr. and Mildred Morris Ellison. He attended Hershel V. Jenkins High School, Savannah, GA, was a member of the Lake City United Methodist Church and retired after 42 years from CSX Railroad, where he was a conductor. Mr. Ellison was an avid outdoorsmen, where he loved to spend time with his daughter Ashley, hunting and fishing.

Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Cindy Mixon Ellison; daughter; Ashley Ellison (Hunter Morgan, Sr.) Richardson of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Hunter Morgan Richardson, Jr. and Ellison Elizabeth Richardson; daughter, Stacy Diane Ellison of Florence; grandson, Dalton Cody Ellison; brother; Cody James (Mary Ann) Ellison, Jr of Savannah, GA and Morris Richardson (Jocelyn) Ellison of Virginia Beach, VA.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, July 31, 2020 at Lake City United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow at Graham Cemetery, Cades.

The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the cemetery.

Due to Covid-19, please use good judgement, with social distancing and wear mask during church service.
