Robert Lee

Mr. Robert Lee, 78, of Effingham, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Lee was born on June 25, 1947, in Florence County, son of the late Ernest Lee and Celia Brown Lee. Mr. Lee was a United States Army veteran who honorably served in Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and later retired as a machine operator from International Knife and Saw, formerly known as Hannaco.

Surviving are his siblings, Tex (Bonnie) Lee, Janice (David) Oliver, Gene (Patricia) Lee, Ernestine (M.H.) Baker, Christine (Lester) Adams and Terry (Petra) Lee, along with many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his siblings, Woodrow Lee, Betty Welch, Allen Lee, Jerry Lee.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Friday, November 28, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel.

Burial will follow at Garden of Memories, Florence.
