Mr. Robert Lawrence McAlister, 56, died on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. McAlister was born on December 18, 1963, in Florence County, a son of the late James Larue McAlister and Barbara Caulder McAlister. Robert was an expert automotive body repairman. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his friends.

Survivors include his sons; James McAlister and Corey Shane (Ashton) McAlister; daughter, Laura McAlister (Jason) Kirven; half-sister, Shirley McAlister; grandchildren, Jason James Kirven, Anna Kirven, Abbi Kirven, Raylean Turner and Elijah McAlister.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
