Robert "Robbie" Earl Taylor

Robert E. "Robbie" Taylor, 66, husband of Tammy Schleuger Taylor, died Friday, June 19, 2020, at Lake City Community Hospital.

Mr. Taylor was born on April 8, 1954 in Florence County, son of the late Charles Byrd Taylor and Oree Driggers Taylor.  He was a graduate of Lake City High School and a member of Johnsonville First Baptist Church. Mr. Taylor retired from Wellman Plastics.                  

Surviving are his wife, Tammy S. Taylor, daughter Audrey Taylor Loman and fur babies, Lilly and Lassie, all of Johnsonville; brothers, Charles J. (Rita) Taylor of Concord, NC, and Wilbur (Joyce) Taylor of Lake City; sisters, Brenda T. (Billy) Stone of Johnsonville, Susan T. (Carlisle) Filyaw of Barnwell and Gwen T. (Lee) Edwards of Scranton; sisters-in-law, Kitty (Charles) Smith of Lake City and Marla (Rodney) Wilkes of Johnsonville; brother-in-law, John (Renee) Schleuger of Johnsonville; mother-in-law, Bonnie Schleuger; and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved and cherished deeply.

Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Reverend Floyd Schleuger.

Memorial services will be 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 21, 2020, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
