Robin (Powell) Nettles

Mrs. Robin Powell Nettles, 68, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025, at her home in Lake City, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Nettles was born on December 23, 1956, in Florence County, daughter of the late Gene Powell and Phyllis Ann Truitt. Mrs. Nettles loved her family, her friends, and her church members. She was a member of Bible Temple and enjoyed being part of the fellowship there. In her spare time, she loved attending auctions, browsing yard sales, going to the beach, and caring for animals. She worked as a bank teller for many years, where she was well-liked for her friendly nature.

Surviving are her son, Marshall Brooks Hilley; sister, Lisa Kimmerlin; niece, Kayla Kimmerlin; cousins, Claudette Guinn and Kay Lancaster; friends and church members; and husband of 19 years, Foley Rogers Nettles;

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
