Ronald E. Hart, Sr.

Mr. Ronald E. Hart, Sr., 80, husband of Patricia Wise Hart, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee.

Mr. Hart was born on March 28, 1944, in Winnsboro, SC, son of the late Edgar Wilber Hart and Alice Bible Hart. He was a devout Christian, instilling in his children and living the life motto, “If it is within your power to help someone, do it”.  Mr. and Mrs. Hart would have celebrated their 59th Wedding Anniversary on October 24, 2024. The Hart Family has faithfully served in the Ministry of Senior Care for over 30 years.

Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Patricia Wise Hart of Lake City; children, Rhonda Hart (Billy) Robinson of Effingham, Regina Hart of Lake City and Ronald E. (Jennifer) Hart, Jr of Effingham; grandchildren, Billy Dean Robinson, Jr, Ashley Kristin Shaw, Wayne Henry Shaw, III, Madison Mariah Shaw and Landon Trevor Ridge Shaw; great grandchildren, Laisey Tanguay, Jacob Tanguay, Wayne Shaw IV and Benjamin Shaw; siblings, Frances Simpson, Faye Walter, and Ann Godwin; numerous nieces and nephews, along with extended family members.

Mr. Hart was preceded in death by siblings, Clara Nell Hart and James Randolph Hart.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, October 18, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, October 18, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be Private.
