Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” K. Moore, 82, husband of Ann Lamb Moore, of Pamplico, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at his residence.
Mr. Moore was born on February 23, 1943, in Florence County, son of the late Robert C. Moore and Lauza Prosser Moore. Mr. Moore was a lifelong member of Lake City Church of God, where he faithfully served as a deacon and lived out the calling God placed on his life. His walk with the Lord was steady, sincere, and reflected in every part of who he was. To all who knew him, he was a man whose faith wasn’t just spoken—it was lived daily with humility, joy, and unwavering trust in God.
Lovingly known as “the Bee Man,” he found peace and purpose in beekeeping, often sharing God’s wonders through the simple beauty of His creation. His warm smile and gentle presence made others feel the love of Christ through him.
He believed firmly in putting God first, and he honored the blessings entrusted to him—especially his family, whom he cherished and lifted up in prayer. He was proud of them in every way, and he led with a servant’s heart, teaching by example what it means to love, forgive, and live with grace.
Faithful in his church and active in his community, Mr. Moore served wherever he was needed, always giving glory to God. He enjoyed visiting the Club House and Woodberry to hunt, where he found fellowship, laughter, and countless opportunities to share stories—many of which carried wisdom and bits of God’s goodness.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Ann L. Moore of Pamplico; sons, Chad (Sharon) Moore and Brandon Moore, both of Florence; grandchildren, Taylor (Nicole) Moore of Florence and Deven (Elise) Moore of Darlington; great grandchildren, William Moore and Prudence “Pru” Moore; sister, Wanda Moore Gregory of Pamplico; sister-in-law, Helen Moore of Scranton; family dog, Rusty.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by siblings, Lona Faye Strickland, Bobby J. Moore and Sandra Moore Tyler.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Lake City Church of God, with funeral services to follow at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow at Prosser Cemetery.
