Obituary
Mr. Scott Ray Yarborough, 65, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at his home in Effingham.
Scott was born on August 10, 1959, in Florence County, son of the late Charles L. Yarborough and Miriam Coward Yarborough. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, graduate of Hannah-Pamplico High School, graduate of Trident Technical College and was owner/operator of Friendfield Farms.
Surviving are his fiancée, Mary Cannon; children, Jarrett Yarborough and Ashleigh Yarborough; siblings, John C. (Nancy) Yarborough, Carmon “Candy” E. Yarborough and Kay Yarborough (Joey) Baggett; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Friday, December 20, 2024, at Hebron Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be, 3:00 PM, Friday, December 20, 2024, Hebron Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hebron Baptist Church, 8655 Francis Marion Road, Scranton, SC 29591.
