Sheila Victoria McDaniel

Sheila V. McDaniel, 58, of Coward (formerly of Darlington), South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2025.

Born on October 17, 1967, in Florence, South Carolina, Sheila was the daughter of the late James (Rose) McDaniel and Phoebe Haselden McDaniel. She spent most of her life working in the hospitality industry, where she took pride in serving the public. Her greatest joy, however, was her grandsons, whom she lovingly cared for until she became ill with cancer.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents. She is survived by her daughter, Bridget Siptroth; her grandsons, Daylin and Gabriel Siptroth; her brother, James (Frances) McDaniel; niece, Erin McDaniel; nephew, Steven McDaniel; great-nieces, Kamryn and Khloe Leonard; great-nephews, James McDaniel and Landon DuRant; her uncle, Ricky Haselden; her aunt, Deloris Haselden; her bonus daughter, Meagan Pierce; close friends, Don and Angie Oakley; and her best friend of 40 years, Stacy Siptroth Hayes.

A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for prayers for her daughter and grandchildren.
