Miss Shirley Temple Martin, 79, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center.
Miss Martin was born on February 19, 1944, in Florence County, daughter of the late Robert Lee Martin and Birtie Mae Matthews Martin. She enjoyed babies and animals, doing word search puzzles, watching the Cooking Channel and spending time with her family.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Miss Martin was preceded in death by her brothers, Lee Mitchell Martin, Dallas Martin, John Willliam Martin and Leon Martin; sisters, Alberta Wilkes, Thelma Weaver, Dorothy Yarborough, Bonnie Ruth Shady and Margaret Miles; half-sister, Lela Joyce Martin.
Graveside services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, October 16, 2023, at Hicks Hill Cemetery, Old #4 Highway, Scranton, South Carolina.
