Terry Wayne Coward

Mr. Terry Wayne Coward, 66, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, after an illness.

Mr. Coward was born on September 13, 1957, in Florence County, son of the late Ira Joe Coward and Shirley Yarborough Coward. He was a graduate of Francis Marion University and retired from Cartee-Berry Associates as a Draftsman. Mr. Coward admired old cars, enjoyed visiting Disney World and his favorite character was Mickey Mouse. He liked to fix things, joke and pick with others. He loved his family and his circle of people.

Surviving are his brother, Ronnie (Jean) Coward of Scranton; aunts, Linda (Steve) Gowdy of Scranton and Becky Yarborough of Scranton; uncle, John (Shirley) Perdue of Scranton; nieces, Patricia Matthews, Devon (Casey) Carsten and Lindsey Tisdale; nephew, Bobby Dale Coward; sister-in-law, Lisa Coward; great nephew, Bryce Matthews, Nate Tisdale and Benjamin Carsten; great nieces, Olivia Burrows and Anna Carsten.

Mr. Coward was preceded in death by his brothers, Roger Dale Coward and Ira Bobby Coward.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Friday, March 29, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Matthews Cemetery, Coward.
