Mrs. Thaye Delle Floyd Pate, 65, of Turbeville, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her residence.
Mrs. Pate was born on January 6, 1960, in Kingstree, daughter of the late W. Bethea Floyd and Lillie Mae Welch Floyd. She attended Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church and worked as a butcher for several area grocery stores. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, known for her protective nature and deep love for her family.
Surviving are her sons, Glen (Amanda) Morris and Ervin (Autumn) Morris, both of Turbeville; grandchildren, Chandler Morris, Cody Morris, Connor Morris, Adalynn Powell Morris, Mattie Morris and Bennett Morris; step-son, Dwayne Pate; step-grandchildren, Dane Pate, Liam McGee and Will McGee; sisters, Nellirea Miles and Eula Mae McElveen; brothers, David (Patricia) Floyd and Lavell (Eddie Lou) Floyd.
Mrs. Pate was preceded in death by her first husband, William Glen Morris, Sr.; second husband, Charles Edward Pate; step-daughter, Amanda Pate McGee; siblings, B.W. Floyd, Joe Floyd, and Alberta Thigpen.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Pinedale Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, with visitation to follow.
