Thomas Lauren "Tommy" Patrick

Thomas “Tommy” Lauren Patrick, 56, of Cades, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Tommy was born on April 20, 1970, in Florence County, son of the late Paul and Frances Ganes Patrick of Cades. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Kingstree High School. Tommy worked with Lake City Electric and previously worked with Milliken in Kingstree.

Tommy was a devoted father to his children Carley Ann and Austin. His love for his children was very evident. Tommy was passionate about racing and you could see him almost every Saturday night at the Sumter Speedway. He loved going and participating in car shows for many years. One of his hobbies was building model cars and taking them to the car shows with his friends. Tommy was very dedicated to his family and friends and always showing up when they needed anything. He never met a stranger. Tommy will be missed by so many and was loved by everyone.

Surviving are his children, Carley Ann and Thomas Austin Patrick of Kingstree; their mother, Shannon Graham Winburn of Kingstree; brother, Kevin (Stephanie) Patrick of Scranton; special family members, Ava Rogers, Timmy (Joyce) Patrick, all of Cades, Ben (Amy) Rogers of Darlington, Shawn (Megan) Patrick of Andrews; numerous cousins; lifelong friends, Garin Owens, Dale Perdue, Joel Williamson, Owen Pack and Ben Pack.

Tommy was preceded in death by a special family member, Benji Rogers.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM, Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Graveside services will follow at 5:00 PM, Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2927 Cade Rd, Cades, SC 29518.
