Tina Michelle Floyd

Miss Tina Michelle Floyd, 53, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at her home in Lake City, surrounded by her loving family.

Tina was born on April 7, 1971, in Florence County, daughter of Thomason J. Floyd and Janice James Floyd. She was a dedicated truck dispatcher based out of Charleston, known for her loving nature and selfless heart. Tina always put others before herself, giving generously and working tirelessly in all she did.  A true fighter and warrior, she faced life’s challenges with strength and determination. Her family and church were the center of her world, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like watching Westerns, the Hallmark Channel and her deep love for animals.  Tina’s kindness, devotion and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her parents, Tommy and Janice Floyd; sister, Melissa (Brian) Poston; brother, Jamie P. (Kelly) Floyd; nieces and nephews, who she loved as her children, Amber Herring, Jonathan (Kaitlin) Poston, Mason (Katarina) Floyd, Peyton (Eli) Floyd, Brayden Vail and Morgan (R. J.) Showler; great nephews, Kaisen, Kallen, Kampten “Cubby” and Collin; special uncle, Dudley Floyd; special cousins, Alice, Dana and Beverly; many special cousins and friends; fur babies, LuLu, Roxy and Pumpkin.

Tina was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ed and Lucille Floyd; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Estelle James; nephew, Jackson Floyd.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Amedisys Hospice,  Suzanne  and  Amber, the MUSC Oncology Team and her church, Great Commission Ministries for the love, prayers and care that was given to Tina.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Great Commission Ministries.

Funeral services will be, 3:30 PM, Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Great Commission Ministries.  Burial will be Private.
