Mr. Tommie Dean Allen, 64, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.
Mr. Allen was born on August 28, 1961, in Florida, son of the late Sherwood “Woody” Allen and Willow Grace Richardson Morris. Mr. Allen was a hardworking man and a true jack of all trades. A skilled carpenter by trade, he took great pride in working with his hands and especially enjoyed building birdhouses. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and was always ready with a joke to make others smile. Although he was a homebody at heart, he loved spending time fishing and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Mr. Allen never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kindness, generosity, and friendly spirit will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Surviving are his beloved companion of 16 years, Tina Royer Luce of Gresham; daughter, Jessica Allen; step-son, Eric Royer; grandchildren, Jayden, Oriana, Valentia, Alex, Anthony, Evan, Adian and Addison; nephews, Terry (Meagan) Allen and Lee (Stephanie) Broxton; niece, Renee Allen; uncle, Glen Morris; along with many cousins and extended family members.
Mr. Allen was preceded in death by a brothers, Woody Allen and Terry Lee Allen; sisters, Sheryl Broxton and Donna Robinson.
Services will be held at a later time.
