Velvadene B. Marsh

Mrs. Velvadene Bryant Marsh, 73, wife of Gene Marsh, died Saturday, October 13, 2018, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, after an illness. 

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Scranton United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Marsh was born on December 3, 1944 in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late Albert Bryant and Berdie Welch Bryant.  She was a member of Faith Holiness Church and enjoyed working in the yard.

Surviving are her husband, Gene Marsh of Lake City; sons, Steve Marsh of Coward and Tommy (Virginia) Marsh of Lake City; grandson, Lee Marsh of Lake City; and a brother, Roy (Eloise) Bryant of Turbeville.

Mrs. Marsh was preceded in death by seven siblings.
