Mrs. Vidella “Vi” Culick Parker Hancock, 91, was called to her heavenly home, Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
Mrs. Hancock was born in Williamsburg County on April 16, 1931. She was the daughter of the late McCloe Culick and Sue Floyd Culick McGee. She was the widow of Willie Parker and Doris Hancock. Mrs. Hancock was a member of Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Women’s Ministries of the Church.
Mrs. Hancock’s surviving family includes her two daughters, Debbie Hardee of Lake City and Dianne (Larry) Owens of Cades; her two sons, Jerry (Charlotte) Parker and Larry (Linda) Parker both of Lake City; her grandchildren, Erica (Levi) Crawford, Mindi (Gary) Shifflett, Selena (Chris) Anderson, Corey (Addie) Owens, Toby (Bridgett) Parker, Teresa (Robbie) Shelley, Clay (Laceye) Parker; her 12 great grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren; her four great, great grandchildren and her two step-great, great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hancock is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Olin Hardee along with her siblings, Talmer Coker, Gladys Bryant, Rosa Lee Feagin, Susan Emma Wheat, Sonny Culick, J.M. Culick, Lonzo Culick, Albert Culick and Luther Culick.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial to follow at New Piney Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.
The family of Mrs. Hancock would like to thank Amedysis Hospice and their staff for all the love and kindness they gave to our mother, especially, Dee Stegall and Tonya.
